A SHORT STORY JUST FOR YOU!
Santa Died Today

"It can't be true. It just can't. Mommy is just fooling me, like she does sometimes. Don't
believe it, just don't believe it."

"Let's see what did she say? No, Jamie there really isn't a Santa Claus with a white beard,
and wearin a red suit, but Santa lives in all peoples, in their hearts and souls." That's just
dumb."

"Go away, I hate you, don't look at me, don't talk to me." Mommy said, " Okay Jamie,
I will leave you alone for a while to think about everything I told you. It is a lot to understand."

"Now where did I put em? Oh, I remember, they are in that box that my tennis shoes came
in when we got them for school. Let's see, this valentine has a heart on it. No way, Santa
couldn't be in there."

"What else did she say, he lives in people's souls. She is always telling me to wipe the soles
of my shoes before I come in the house. Now just how can he live on the bottom of my
shoes?"

"Well, I guess she's not foolin this time, so I'm just gonna forget about getting any presents,
ever again."

"At least there is still the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. My front tooth is loose, and will
be falling out tomorrow, I bet."
